Blended Learning

Clermont Christian School uses a blended model to give families the best benefits of traditional schooling and homeschooling* simultaneously:

Traditional Schooling: Structure, Teacher Support, Community; Homeschooling: Flexible Schedule, Family Emphasis, Personalized Learning

Students attend classes in person three days a week – Monday, Wednesday, Friday – and complete lessons and assignments at home the other days of the week. All required curriculum is provided.

We encourage families to read aloud together and participate in learning activities together. In our model, parents are not just “homework help,” they are partners with the teacher to ensure the student’s success. Students can work at their needed pace as long as all assignment deadlines and learning hours are met.

Amount of work to be done at home weekly:

Kindergarten 5 hours

1st-6th Grade 10 hours

7th-8th Grade 12.5 hours

We’d love to partner with you in giving your child a high quality classical, Christian education, Apply today for grades K-8th!

*Blended learning students are enrolled full-time at Clermont Christian School, so parents are not required to submit a homeschool notification to their local school district.
